Hi everybody, I just finished my new portfolio layout (can be found here). Therefore I will be returning this to what it was originally intended to be, a photoblog, rather than a mix of "my creative output"..
There will come a series of changes to the layout as I will make it more photoblog orientated, and prepare it for a template release. Also I hope that by devoting this to being a pure photoblog I will start taking more photos again :)

Raia is a template developped for the opensource photoblogging application, PixelPost. The template was originally designed personally for the use of it's creator, but as a contribution to the friendly community and the pixelpost project, the design is now released as a free template.

The template was designed for PixelPost v1.7.1, but should be compatible with older versions as well, however it is strongly recommended that you go to PixelPost.org and update your version, should it not be the newest already. More details on the requirements of the pixelpost application itself can be found on their website, as well as a list of updates and features available in the new version.

For the optimal exploitation of the template and it's features, two pixelpost addons are required. The first is Ajax Ratings, and the second is Paged Archive (which has become a standard addon in the newer version of PixelPost, and therefore only requires activation from the Addons admin panel.

Image width should preferably be 950px. Thumbnail size should be 174 x 100px. Be sure to define this in your admin page.

As this is the first public release of the template, minor glitches may occur, the best way of dealing with this is messaging me with the info of the error. For any futher help about installing the template or other technical issues, feel free to ask by either contacting me privately or adding a comment on this page.

This is the first wallpaper I've uploaded to the site, unfortunately a few technical issues only allow the current priview. This should be sorted shortly whereas the download link will be added.
Another new thing to the site is that I finished the comment system, thus allowing comments now. However, please note, there is some degree of moderation on the comments, so any comments considered inapropriate or "spam" will be removed.

Beauty and the Beast

I was out taking a few photos today, and even though I know this isn't exactly the most original motive, I found the contrast between the "harsh" look of the plant itself, and the delicate seed to be so appealing that I had to try and make my own version of this motive.
On another note, the contact page, and the contact form, is now up and running. If you have any enquiries don't hesitate to send me a mail. The comment system is now the last major thing I need to finish.
