I came home yesterday and there was a message on my answering machine telling me I should visit a certain .com website.

Frankly I don't remember what the website was and I wouldn't post it here even if I did.

I find this interesting considering my phone # is unlisted. This tells me some company I am using/have used has sold my info.

What is going on at Ask Me Help Desk is nothing new. The bullying and intimidation tactics are used by regulars on many ill-reputed boards out there. The term 'regulars' has gained notoriety over the years on all kinds of forums. That's where the bullies are easier to spot, something like Askmehelpdesk's Curlyben. To an outsider or a lurker, it can be a bit intimidating submitting a post as a newbie. Not knowing all the ins and outs and who knows who, it can be a bit daunting. The Askmehelpdesk.com TOS (terms of service) or forum rules usually only serve to favor the regulars and bullies if there is some flaming going on in a particular thread. SO the regulars at this Askmehelpdesk.com place are just using the TOS to their advantage when it serves their needs, and the newbies get to go through whatever crap the regulars feel like dishing out. Beware of Ask Me Help Desk and it's cohorts.

Another BLUFF by Askmehelpdesk Admin (the site owner), another Ask Me Help Desk LIE. PetitionSpot will NEVER release the Ip's of the members without a court order or a subpoena, I know, I asked the Petition Spot to release the Ip's of Admin, ScottGem and others from Ask Me Help Desk who have been frequenting this petition. They told me that they have a strict policy about that and that type of info will never be release to anyone. This post is just a live example of how Admin wants to manipulate people through LIES and pretensions. What can you expect from an individual without conscience that lies for a living. Admin created and runs an anonymous questionable business by recruiting internet savvy-lacking targets to generate traffic for his Google Adsense payperclick account. What people don't know is that Ask Me Help Desk Admin is making enough money to live a good life hiding somewhere, hence his precious anonymity. Sadly, most of Ask Me Help Desk self-proclaimed Experts are appointed after a few months of membership. You get the catch, the more members/Experts the more content and the more content the more traffic and revenue for Admin. Thereby he generates Google Adsense revenue, all under the hard work of naïve others. All your hard work and valuable time to help Admin cash in. Experts are mostly the elderly, women and the disabled as they are easy targets for sites like this. What Admin is not saying is that he has never honored the many questions from hundreds of members wanting to know where they are working or who they are volunteering for. Many vague answers such as a first name and a picture, that does it for Admin. But questions like where is Askmehelpdesk incorporated, what's the "last name" of the owner and where's the business location… will never be answer. All we've got is a handful of comical aliases like PunkChic, NeedKarma, Curlyben, Excon… and these ridiculous pseudonyms are supposed to be the center point of the credibility on the Askmehelpdesk.com Experts. Experts who abuse and demeanor members for no particular reason, just for pleasure. I never saw PrettyLady mistreat or ridicule any of the members. She was truly an amazing expert and they never should have let her go. She behaved in a courteous and professional manner when answering people's questions and she gave wonderful advice. Some of us tried to get Rick to reinstate her, but Rick, J_9 and Curlyben told us that it would be better to leave it alone. I think Janine (J_9) resented PrettyLady because she was pretty and popular and the members liked her a lot. Curlyben and his annoying ugly wife (Curlybenswife) backed up PunkChic because she's British like them, even though PunkChic gives bad advice to people and isn't fit to be an expert. I believe in karma, God help you Ask Me Help Desk Admin, what a huge sham you've got going.

The response to national disaster is awesome but it's a real shame that so many citizens take advantage of the sad situations.

I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill - there's always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.

The ridiculous pseudonym and character of the self proclaimed Expert called PunkChic who was appointed by RickJ, is just a ludicrous example of what's happening in other sections of Askmehelpdesk.com were anyone could portray themselves to be just about anyone. Basically a Pedophile could portray to be an Askmehelpdesk female Expert to minor students. The dangers go on and on and Askmehelpdesk.com Administration does nothing to verify who is who or provide any certification or background checks to the members using this advice service. Askmehelpdesk appointed Experts charge $1 per minute to provide consultation without holding any certifications or business licenses. Askmehelpdesk functions on a total anonymous basis while providing consulting services which is totally illegal in the United States.

Is Askmehelpdesk.com a Scam? Askmehelpdesk.com members want to know what's going on. I just found a lot of bad reviews on the internet and I can see what everyone has said to be true, I have been called an idiot by an Askmehelpdesk advocate after my first posting!!! Ask Me Help Desk Mods and Admins only know how to defend their wrong doing with threats, harassment and insults instead of answering the many questions. Is Ask Me Help Desk controlled by evil Mods? Is Ask Me Help Desk a Scam? Maybe someone there should step forward and tell us why there is so much abuse and indiscriminate attacks on the newbies and members and why do the Owner, AMHD Admin and Experts hide their identities if they offer services of $1 per minute for advice. AMHD claims to be a private business and run for a profit with Google Adsense revenue, why are they hiding their business location and information about the ownership? All this in addition to the many complaints of abusive Mods makes me believe that the site isn't legitimate at all. I wanted to place this thread on this forum as I find it to be a valuable place for civilized discussions. Please share your experiences on Askmehelpdesk.com with us.

I'm an expert on Askmehelpdesk.com and I would like give my testimony with all of you so that you know that you're not alone in this. I have seen members being attacked, hurt or humiliated by the Mods, J_9 and Curlyben. Rick is always busy fighting with people on the Christianity forum to care about the abuse that goes on in other areas of the site. RickJ (the Dick) thinks he's an expert on Christianity as well, but he's just a bully. I want you guys to know that not all of us on AMHD are bad people. I remember PrettyLady well. She was truly an amazing expert on Askmehelpdesk. I never saw PrettyLady mistreat or ridicule any of the members. She behaved in a decent and professional manner when answering people's questions and she gave wonderful advice. When our beautiful PrettyLady was banned, some of us tried to get Rick to reinstate her, but Rick, J_9 and Curlyben told us that it would be wise to leave it alone. I think J_9 resented PrettyLady because she was popular and the members liked her. Curlyben and his annoying wife Curlybenswife backed up PunkChic because she's British like them, even though PunkChic gives bad advice to people and isn't fit to be an expert. I believe in karma, and bad karma will affect Rick, J_9 and Curlyben sooner or later. Askmehelpdesk Curlyben and J_9 and have been mistreating and banning members for years. People are afraid to report the abuse because all the Mods are very close and will ban you for reporting them. RickJ has developed a good friendship with Curlyben and J_9 and I'm sure he has destroyed the reports or complaints made against them. Some of the experts are just as bad as the Moderators. I've seen Askmehelpdesk Moderators and experts gang up on members and attack them like animals. I'm so tired of seeing members get abused. Don't join Ask Me Help Desk.

I haven't seen my last gf in a long time but nevertheless miss her sometimes.

Is this normal? I haven't spoken to her in over 8 months but I occasionally just feel like I still miss her.

The response level to local and national disasters is noble but it's a real shame that so many citizens take advantage of the sad situations.

I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill - there's always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.

This is in response to reading that 4 of Oprah Winfreys "angels" got busted ripping off the system. Shame on them!
